Description: PICTOU ISLAND CHARTERS is located only a 15 minute drive from Stonehame and is offering an authentic Nova Scotia experience to Stonehame guests for free!! The M/V Cetacean Search has been Transport Canada certified to carry 36 passengers on voyages in the Northumberland Strait. In the waters of the Northumberland Strait lies a small island named Pictou Island. The M/V Cetacean Search leaves Caribou and travels to Pictou island located between Nova Scotia and PEI. Pictou Island is full of beautiful sandy beaches, which the community is commited to preserve for future generations. Pictou Island Charters is also going to package with Fitz Mountain Bike Rentals. They have developed a guided tour of Pictou Island for $50 per person which includes the bike ride, the boat ride over and back and the tour. The tours will be every Thursday and Friday leaving Caribou in the morning and returning early afternoon.
