Weddings
Whether you are looking for an intimate Nova Scotia wedding ceremony in front of a roaring fire as the snow falls gently outside, or a Nova Scotia wedding outdoors with our charming lodge and the vibrant fall colours as a backdrop, we will consult with you to ensure your wedding is stress free and all that you dreamed.
Our Lodge is licensed for up to 100 people. Your wedding breakfast, brunch, luncheon or supper can be tailored to meet all your culinary tastes and expectations. Our menus promise not only to be a reflection of your every desire but an enhancement of the celebration!
Have your wedding photographs taken out on the front deck with the view behind you or up at " Dad's Little Log Cabin " which has become Stonehame's signature spot for wedding photos!
Wedding Package
Our Wedding Package Rate is $600.00 plus tax which includes rental of the following:
1) Board Room/bar area full-day (wedding day)
2) MacKenzie Room full-day (Rehearsal + Set-up)
3) MacKenzie Room full-day (wedding day)
4) MacKenzie Room half-day (breakfast/gift opening next morning)
Note: This fee includes set-up and clean-up by Stonehame staff plus linens for a maximum of 50 people. Each additional person up to 100 people is $5.00 per person. A candle fee will need to be determined, depending on request.
Stonehame Wedding policies:
1. All rooms in the Lodge (5 rooms) and Rock Maple Retreat (12 rooms) must be booked for the wedding night if a reception is being held. Payment for any of the 17 rooms that are not booked is the responsibility of the bride and groom.
2. All food and beverage consumed in the main lodge must be purchased through, prepared and served by Stonehame.
3. A 25% deposit is required upon confirmation and is non-refundable. Menu details, accommodations and number of guests must be finalized no later than 14 days prior to the date of the function, with the exception of the lodge and retreat rooms. Cancellation of a function which includes food must be done no later than 30 days prior to the date of the function, or full payment is required.
4. The MacKenzie Room and main part of lodge front deck are licensed and as such, liquor is not permitted in these areas unless it is purchased from the bar. Guests are permitted to consume liquor in their rooms but cannot take it into the main part of the lodge.
